It’s 610 days until the 2021 inauguration. Are you willing to wait that long? And then, what if the Democrats lose?
The Two-Party system in America is broken. Elected officials who choose their political party above country and constitution have betrayed their public trust and their personal oath. That is true on any side of the so-called aisle.
In the hallowed halls of Congress, the great paper chase runs slow. A Federal judge says go, Dems, go! Trump and his lawyers say, “No, No, No.”
Notice the reference, always, to the “Obama-appointed judge”. We have come to accept that, in our society, even justice is Red or Blue. Which means, by definition, justice in America is no longer just.

Trump predictably will appeal. Supreme Court, get ready. Trump trusts you to go his way. I guess the Supremes are already loaded and locked and ready for anything the Dems can throw their way.

I just had the real pleasure of listening to our fine Reps Nadler and Collins of the House Judiciary Committee give the exact same speeches they gave the other day, when William Barr chickened out of speaking with the representatives of the people of the United States. This time, it was Don McGahn, ordered by the chief chicken to chicken out himself. The spinning wheel goes round. Next, FBI agents will refuse the subpoenas that Barr serves them as he escalates Investigate-Gate(tm), firing his own paper cannons out from the safety of the Trump Bunker.
Nadler does take time to lay out many of the crimes committed by Trump, in his castigation of McGahn for breaking the law by ignoring a legal subpoena. He’s still too fookin’ chicken to go for impeachment. “We will hold him accountable!” Nadler even raised his voice a little.
But what kind of accountability is there without impeachment? What in the world is wrong with the Democrats? Collins, on the other hand, is just utterly clownish and repeats himself almost word for word from the previous hearing. The way he lies about what the Mueller report actually says makes it clear he has never read a word of the report for himself. The guy behind him— who probably misread the report for Collins and scripted his lies— picks his nose, shuffles the papers in his crotch, and looks guilty as hell.
Hey, you can watch it for yourself if you have a little patience. Picturing the clown noses helps get through it. Mercifully, a quick vote ends the hearing before anything real happens.

So how much more will it take? How much more will the Democrats and Constitutional Republicans in Congress take before the impeachment begins? This is yet another flat-out refusal to testify or provide any documents to Congress, in direct violation of the law. What in the world are they waiting for?

So Call Your Clown!
When people ask me what they can do to change our government, I suggest calling or writing their representatives in Congress. How can they represent you if they don’t know what you think?
Here’s the list of Blue clowns who are busy making the wrong call on impeachment. I never heard so many Nancy Pelosi parrots in my life. “Divisive, Divisive, Divisive. Polly want a Cracker, Divisive.” They must not have read View from the Side, or they’d know better than to sound so silly.

Because We Need to Impeach!
But, in the end, it’s Nancy Pelosi alone who is the logjam blocking the natural movement toward impeaching a blatant criminal. Her motivations, at this point, are more than suspect. She is complicit, with Trump, but for reasons I do not know. I have to wonder why she thinks it’s best for the American people to leave a criminal unchallenged in the White House for another 610 days. And then, lose again.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rebuffed calls for impeachment, reportedly telling fellow Democrats, “This is not about politics. It’s about what’s best for the American people.”
Reps. David Cicilline of Rhode Island, Jamie Raskin of Maryland and Joe Neguse of Colorado — all members of Democratic leadership — pushed to begin impeachment proceedings during a leadership meeting in Pelosi’s office, said the sources. Pelosi and Reps. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut, Ben Ray Luján of New Mexico, Hakeem Jeffries of New York and Cheri Bustos of Illinois — some of her key allies — rejected their calls, saying Democrats’ message is being drowned out by the fight over possibly impeaching Trump.

The choice to Congress is clear and for once, simple. Impeach. Or surrender, giving up the Constitution— and most likely the 2020 election— to the Clown-in-Chief.
From the side, there’s only one choice. And now is a better time for it than later.
