The sky is exploding, the sun’s falling into the sea
like the whole world’s on fire, the colors all starting to bleed
but without you here it feels like nothing to me.
I’m not much for thinking, not much for showing my mind
I don’t seem to do much but think about you all the time
even at midnight I still see your light shining.
well, hunger ain’t nothin’, thirst it ain’t so hard to slake
but living’s not enough if it’s living for living’s own sake
and this living without you is too hard to take.
now the sunset is fading, the fog comes rolling in.
out on the horizon, there’s a world that you’re not in.
even a love song sometime must come to an end.
